Responsibilities

• Review mechanical designs (HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting) for compliance with codes and project requirements
• Manage and respond to RFIs, technical queries, and design clarifications
• Prepare and review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and electrical teams to resolve clashes and design gaps
• Support planning and cost teams with quantities, BOQs, and technical input
• Liaise with consultants and contractors to ensure smooth technical alignment
• Monitor drawing revisions, approvals, and document control processes
• Participate in coordination meetings and track technical risks/issues
• Ensure constructability and maintainability of all mechanical systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 8+ years of experience in construction or real estate development, with a strong focus on technical office roles
• Proven expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting design review and coordination
• Strong experience in reviewing and approving shop drawings, material submittals, and RFIs
