Job summary

alfanar Building Systems is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to support large-scale real estate and construction projects in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on project scheduling, progress monitoring, and management reporting across multiple ongoing projects.

The ideal candidate will lead schedule development, monitor critical paths, and coordinate with project managers, site teams and cost-control professionals to ensure reliable schedules and informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (required).
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in planning, scheduling or project controls.
• Experience with large-scale construction or real estate development preferred.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 for scheduling and progress monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Develop, structure and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Monitor progress and update schedules weekly/bi-weekly.
• Prepare S-curves, look-ahead schedules, progress reports and dashboards.
• Coordinate with cost-control teams to integrate cost and schedule data.
• Prepare and maintain WBS and scheduling baselines.
• Communicate risks, delays and corrective actions to stakeholders.
