Job summary

KEO International Consultants in Al Khobar is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to join our on-site project team. This role focuses on aligning schedules with milestones, coordinating with PMCs and contractors, and ensuring contractual compliance.

You will lead baseline schedules, produce weekly/monthly progress reports, manage risk, and support on-site measurements and budget adjustments to keep the project on track.

Qualifications

• 15 years of work experience in large-scale mixed-use projects
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Knowledge of Standard Method of Measurement of construction works

Responsibilities

• Operate to implement commercial/contractual matters within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and contractors to align the schedule with project milestones and deliverables.
• Monitor progress against the baseline schedule and prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Attend project meetings and provide inputs on planning, sequencing, and scheduling.
• Ensure planning and scheduling activities comply with contractual requirements and industry best practices.
• Support risk management and mitigation planning.
• Perform analysis on project variations and changes, prepare project reports, analyze information for adjustments to project budget as necessary to assure a successful project for the client and the firm.
• Acting to measure works on site and from drawings including competence with electronic measurement systems.
• Processing and interpreting contract conditions.
• Understanding, identifying and assessing project risks.
• Communicating effectively, both verbal and written communication.
• Knowledge of Standard Method of Measurement of construction works.
