Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer in Riyadh to develop, monitor, and control project schedules for major construction projects. You will support project teams with planning, progress reporting, and schedule analysis on multi-billion SAR developments with Tier 1 contractors.

The role requires 10+ years of planning experience, strong CPM and EOT capabilities, and proficiency with Primavera P6.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of planning experience with Tier 1 main contractors
• Experience on multi-billion SAR construction projects including high-rise towers and large-scale developments
• Proficiency in project planning and scheduling
• Experience with Critical Path Method (CPM)
• Experience in progress monitoring and reporting
• Proven ability to manage multiple schedules in fast-paced environments

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent planning software
• Prepare baseline programmes, recovery schedules, and revised project plans throughout the project lifecycle
• Monitor project progress, identify schedule variances, and recommend corrective actions to maintain milestones
• Conduct critical path analysis, delay analysis, and earned value assessments to support project performance
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and executive planning presentations
• Coordinate with project managers, engineering, procurement, commercial, and construction teams to ensure alignment of activities and schedule
• Review subcontractor programmes and monitor their progress to ensure compliance with contractual milestones
• Support the preparation and evaluation of Extension of Time (EOT) claims with detailed planning analysis
• Participate in project planning meetings and provide schedule-related recommendations to senior management
• Ensure planning processes comply with project specifications, contractual requirements, and company standards
• Identify project risks related to scheduling and develop mitigation and recovery plans
