Job summary

Gateworth Group client is seeking a senior Oracle DBA in Riyadh to administer and optimize databases across OCI Exadata RAC Data Guard and GoldenGate.

The role focuses on performance tuning, high availability, disaster recovery, backups and secure configurations across Oracle, SQL Server and MySQL, with emphasis on automation and governance.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management are essential, as you will drive change with cross‑functional teams and ensure data integrity and security.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Oracle DBA roles.
• Hands-on experience with OCI, Exadata, RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate.
• Migration, performance tuning, and high availability design expertise.
• Administration across SQL Server and MySQL.
• Strong security, encryption, auditing, and access control knowledge.
• Troubleshooting complex enterprise database issues.
• Ability to design scalable, secure, high-performance DB solutions.
• Strong scripting and automation capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead performance tuning initiatives SQL optimisation indexing strategies bottleneck resolution
• Implement and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions across Oracle SQL Server and MySQL
• Manage backup and recovery processes RMAN transaction logs binary backups point in time recovery
• Oversee secure database configurations including RBAC encryption auditing and advanced security features
• Design and implement scalable database architectures across Oracle SQL Server MySQL and Sybase
• Manage Exadata operations storage cell configuration intelligent storage pools InfiniBand optimisation

Requirements
