Job summary

Qualifications

• 3 years International Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Nursing.
• Current licensure as a professional registered nurse.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS as applicable per scope of service.
• Minimum 5 years of Nursing Experience including 4 years working as an Operating Room Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Act as scrub or circulating nurse per OR schedule.
• Set up the operating room according to operation type and AORN recommendations.
• Assist the surgeon during complex operative procedures.
• Ensure all pre/intra/postoperative documentation is completed promptly.
• Maintain strict aseptic practices and patient safety at all times.
• Precept and mentor junior nurses during training periods.
