Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Resident Engineer for MEP to act as the on-site lead for complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works in Saudi Arabia. The role ensures delivery in line with project specs, codes, and safety standards, coordinating between Client, Designers, Contractors and Authorities.

You will oversee design modifications, RFIs, and procurement, provide technical direction across HVAC, electrical, ELV, plumbing, and life-safety systems, and drive successful handover and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services engineering.
• Master's degree advantageous; PE/CE or equivalent registration; PMP preferred.
• 20+ years in MEP design, construction supervision, and project delivery.
• 5+ years in a Senior MEP/Resident Engineer role on major KSA projects.
• Experience on large-scale commercial, mixed-use, high-rise, and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-based MEP construction activities from mobilization through testing and handover.
• Ensure MEP installations comply with drawings, specs, regulations and standards.
• Review RFIs, shop drawings, and commissioning procedures.
• Coordinate MEP interfaces with civil, structural, architectural works.
• Provide technical leadership on HVAC, electrical, ELV, plumbing and fire protection.
