Job summary

KBR in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia is seeking a Sr. Materials and Corrosion Engineer to join the Offshore team. This role focuses on materials selection, corrosion prevention, and asset integrity to support offshore projects.

You will ensure compliance with Aramco and industry standards, guide technical bids, review TBEs/NMRs, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with global offices as needed. A degree in engineering and 15+ years of offshore experience are required.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of offshore engineering experience and a degree in engineering.
• Experience with Aramco standards and best practices is preferred.
• Familiarity with corrosion assessments and materials selection.
• Ability to lead technical bids and multi-discipline reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead Brownfield and Greenfield offshore projects, acting as a technical focal point for materials engineering.
• Develop corrosion management programs and material selection diagrams.
• Carry out corrosion assessments on pipelines, piping and equipment; review TBEs and NMRs.
• Provide technical support across disciplines and mentor junior team members.
