Job summary

KBR is seeking a Sr. Materials and Corrosion Engineer in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. You will lead corrosion assessments for pipelines and equipment, develop CMPs and material selection diagrams, and support coating decisions while aligning with API 579, BS 7910, ASME B31G and related standards.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of experience in corrosion engineering, familiarity with ILI data and integrity reports, and the ability to mentor junior staff and interface with clients on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Minimum 10+ years of corrosion engineering experience.
• Experience with corrosion management programs and material selection diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with international and Saudi Aramco best practices and standards.
• Carry out corrosion assessment on pipelines, piping and equipment.
• Develop Corrosion Management Program (CMP) reports and material/ coating diagrams.
• Provide guidance for corrosion calculations and coordinate with other disciplines.
