Job summary

Trace Systems is seeking an experienced Network Support Technician to support the USMTM CITS contract in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Network Support Technician installs, maintains, tests, documents, inspects, and restores structured cabling, fiber optic, copper, telecommunications rooms, racks, pathways, and other passive communications infrastructure supporting secure data, voice, and video services.

Qualifications

Active US Government Secret clearance.
US citizenship is required.
5+ years structured cabling experience.
Experience with cable-certification and fiber testing.
Ability to relocate to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

Install, terminate, test, certify, maintain, and troubleshoot copper and fiber optic cabling.
Install and maintain racks, patch panels, fiber distribution panels, cable managers, grounding.
Perform fiber fusion and mechanical splicing, connector termination, cleaning, inspection, testing.
Use cable analyzers, OTDRs, optical power meters, multimeters, splicing equipment, and other tools.
Maintain Red and Black signal-distribution systems and ensure installations meet government requirements.
Inspect infrastructure, correct discrepancies, initiate work orders, and maintain records.
Troubleshoot physical-layer issues affecting network, voice, VTC, and mission services.
Coordinate outside-plant work and subcontractors for installation schedules.
