Job summary

Ma’aden is seeking a Supervisor Mining to oversee mining operations at a designated site in Saudi Arabia. You will lead a team of miners, ensure safety and environmental compliance, and drive production efficiency through best practices and effective coordination with planning, geology, and maintenance.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in mining-related field and 5–7 years of open-pit or underground mining experience, including 2–3 years in a supervisory capacity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mining engineering, geology, or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in open-pit or underground mining operations, with 2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong understanding of mine planning, ore reserve estimation, and grade control practices.
• Proficiency in mine safety regulations, risk management, and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate mining operations to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, SOPs, and environmental standards; conduct safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Provide leadership to mining crews, assign tasks, monitor performance, and train staff.
• Coordinate with mine planning and engineering teams to implement mine plans and optimize pit designs.
• Monitor equipment performance, schedule maintenance, and minimize downtime.
• Inspect mining equipment, infrastructure, and work areas for safety hazards and improvements.
• Maintain production records, shift reports, and equipment logs for management review.
• Liaise with geology, processing, and maintenance to support ore delivery and grade control.
