Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Midwifery or equivalent.
• Nursing licensure/registration as RN in country of residence (as applicable).
• Diplomas or degrees as listed in education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical supervision and guidance to the nursing team during each shift.
• Maintains the highest standards of patient care and serves as a resource for unit staff.
• Leads and models patient experience initiatives across the continuum of care while collaborating interprofessionally within the facility.
• Provides direct patient care and other nursing duties as necessary.
• Ensures comprehensive unit handovers to the next in-charge nurse at shift change.
• Assists the Nurse Manager in unit promotion and recruitment interviews.
• Supports the development of staff at all levels to maintain a high-performing workforce and adequate succession planning.
• Fosters the growth and development of a national workforce.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Midwifery

Bachelor degree in Nursing plus Advance Diploma Degree in Midwifery
