BEC Arabia seeks an experienced Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor based in Khobar to lead cost estimation, budgeting and contract administration for large-scale MEP projects. You will drive financial efficiency and ensure technical accuracy across government mega-projects, commercial developments, and industrial facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field with professional registration.
• Minimum 8 years in quantity surveying with a focus on MEP systems.
• SCE registration or eligibility for registration.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, AutoCAD and CostX.
• Strong knowledge of SBC and ARAMCO standards.
• Demonstrated expertise in contract management and value engineering.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with GOSI and other Saudi labor regulations.

Responsabilités

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for MEP systems including HVAC, electrical and plumbing works.
• Develop and manage budgets for MEP components across multiple projects.
• Conduct value engineering analyses to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
• Review and evaluate contractor bids for MEP works.
• Monitor project expenditures and ensure alignment with budgets.
• Prepare and manage contracts for MEP works in compliance with Saudi regulations.
• Coordinate with design and engineering teams to integrate MEP systems.
• Lead site inspections and audits to verify quality and progress.
• Generate detailed reports on cost performance and contract status for senior management.
• Mentor junior quantity surveyors and provide technical guidance.
• Collaborate with procurement to source materials and subcontractors.
