Job summary

Mace is seeking a Senior MEP Site Manager in Saudi Arabia to lead the delivery of mechanical and MEP works on a major entertainment and luxury hospitality project. You will supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and handover, ensuring safety, quality, and operational readiness through hands-on management.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical/electrical/building services or related discipline.
• Proven experience in installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP services on fast-track projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise delivery of mechanical and MEP works, ensuring safety, quality, and programme adherence.
• Manage installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems to meet specifications.
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to align delivery strategies.
• Drive fast-track construction and fit-out packages while managing risks and programme milestones.
• Promote a safety, well-being, and quality culture across all project activities.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams to foster collaboration and improvement.
• Implement QA processes, inspections, audits, and performance reviews for successful outcomes.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, integrated systems testing, handover, and project close-out.

The Project

This project offers the chance to join a talented Mace team in delivering a major entertainment and luxury hospitality project, collaborating with renowned architects and global consultants. The project involves extensive infrastructure and built assets, delivered rapidly through a hands‑on construction management approach, ideal for those experienced in managing both main and sub‑contract packages.

You'll Be Responsible For

• Supervising the delivery of mechanical and MEP construction works, ensuring compliance with health and safety, quality, programme, and project objectives.
• Managing the installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems, ensuring all works are delivered in line with project specifications and operational requirements.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders, translating project objectives into effective delivery strategies.
• Driving the successful delivery of fast‑track construction and fit‑out packages, proactively managing risks, interfaces, and programme challenges.
• Championing a positive health, safety, well‑being, and quality culture across all project activities.
• Providing technical leadership and guidance to project teams, promoting collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Implementing quality assurance processes, inspections, audits, and performance reviews to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Overseeing testing, commissioning, integrated systems testing, handover, and project close‑out activities to achieve operational readiness and client satisfaction.

You'll Need To Have

• A degree qualification in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, building services engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience managing the installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical and MEP services on complex, fast‑track projects, ensuring safe delivery, operational readiness, and compliance with project and client requirements.
• Experience delivering fit‑out and technical infrastructure packages within mission‑critical, industrial, utility, transportation, healthcare, data center, or similarly complex environments.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, installation methodologies, systems integration, testing and commissioning protocols, and phased handover strategies.
• Demonstrable experience managing the installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical and MEP services within complex project environments.
• Experience delivering fast‑track construction projects and fit‑out works, with the ability to manage multiple work fronts and critical programme milestones.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation, risk management practices, and industry best practice standards.
• Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management, contractor coordination, programme recovery, and the use of digital project management and reporting tools.
• Eligibility to meet Kingdom of Saudi Arabia visa requirements and a proven track record of delivering high‑value projects/programmes for a project management consultancy or similar environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services.
• Relevant NVQ or HNC (or equivalent).
• Experience in a site‑based managerial role (or equivalent).
• SMSTS and managerial/professional CSCS Card.
• Site Management Safety Training Scheme and Construction Skills Certificate Scheme.
