Job summary

Haskoning seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Mission Critical Facilities team in Riyadh. You will lead mechanical design, deliver detailed designs and specifications, and support testing and commissioning for data centre projects across Europe and beyond.

You’ll collaborate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams in a live data centre environment. Based in Riyadh, you’ll work with global colleagues to develop integrated, innovative, and sustainable data centre

Qualifications

• At least 10 years’ experience and 5+ years of relevant working experience in mechanical design of data centres or other critical facilities.
• Strong proficiency in Revit is a must.
• Good knowledge of standard practices, codes and regulations in the design and construction industry.
• KSA or Middle East experience required, excellent English required, Arabic a strong advantage, plus affinity with BIM360, CDE or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical work packages across multiple projects.
• Write technical specifications and reports; support cost and risk assessments.
• Review tenders, evaluate proposals, and manage vendor relations.
• Communicate project status to clients and stakeholders; support testing and commissioning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure QA/QC of documents.
