Job summary

Qiddiya is seeking an experienced Accounting Leader to oversee all financial accounting, reporting, and compliance, ensuring IFRS adherence and strong internal controls. You will guide budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis while driving automation and efficiency across the function.

You will lead a skilled accounting team, collaborate with finance leadership, and manage relationships with auditors, regulators, and banks in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA, SOCPA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification is required or strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accounting function and oversee all financial accounting activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable standards and policies.
• Manage general ledger operations, reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and financial close activities.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes and ensure timely submission of financial reports.
• Review and approve financial statements, account reconciliations, supporting schedules, and management reports.
• Ensure IFRS, governance, regulatory obligations, and internal control frameworks are followed.
• Monitor and oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and other accounting processes.
• Provide technical accounting guidance and support to finance teams and business stakeholders.
• Lead the preparation of statutory financial statements, regulatory filings, and audit requirements.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, regulators, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, business planning, and financial analysis activities with finance leadership.
• Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and operational efficiency improvements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting teams while fostering a high-performance and compliance-focused culture.
