Job summary

Qiddiya | القدية is seeking an experienced finance leader to manage accounting operations and deliver reliable financial reporting. You will oversee the general ledger, month-end close, and statutory reporting, ensuring IFRS compliance and strong internal controls across the organization.

The role partners with internal stakeholders, supports budgeting processes, and coordinates with external auditors and regulators to maintain financial integrity and drive continuous improvement in accounting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA, SOCPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification preferred.
• 7–10 years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, or finance operations experience.
• Experience leading month-end and year-end close processes and coordinating with internal/external audits.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations in line with policies and procedures.
• Oversee general ledger activities, reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and financial transaction processing.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities and ensure adherence to reporting timelines.
• Review and approve financial reconciliations, supporting schedules, and accounting records.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and accounting analyses per IFRS and internal controls.
• Ensure IFRS compliance, regulatory requirements, and internal control frameworks.
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and other accounting functions for accuracy.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support budgeting and provide financial guidance.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, regulators, banks, and other external stakeholders.
• Support internal and external audit activities with accurate documentation.
• Identify process improvements, system enhancements, and automation opportunities to improve accounting ops.
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting teams and foster accountability.
