The role provides strategic financial insight, strengthens control frameworks, and supports senior leadership in informed decision-making, ensuring alignment across Finance, Commercial, and Project Delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Strong background in project controls and financial governance.
• Experience with SAP, Primavera P6, Unifier and BIM systems.
• Proven ability to oversee budgets, schedules, risks and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage contract variations, change orders and extension of time/cost claims with proper evaluation and approvals.
• Oversee contingencies and provisional sums to maintain budget discipline.
• Monitor costs, forecast, and perform variance analysis for senior management.
• Ensure data integrity across SAP, Primavera P6, Unifier, BIM and related systems.
• Oversee monthly accrual reviews and financial close activities.
• Provide oversight of schedule changes and integrated cost/schedule impacts.
• Lead risk and opportunity reviews and escalate key exposures.
• Coordinate between Finance, Commercial and Project Delivery teams.
• Mentor project controls teams to promote governance and continuous improvement.

The Senior Manager leads project controls and financial governance across assigned projects or portfolios, ensuring robust oversight of contracts, budgets, schedules, risks, and reporting. The role provides strategic financial insight, strengthens control frameworks, and supports senior leadership in informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage contract variations, change orders, and extension of time/cost claims, ensuring proper evaluation, documentation, approvals, and reporting.
• Oversee utilization of project contingencies and provisional sums, ensuring disciplined budget control and alignment with approved business cases.
• Direct cost monitoring, forecasting, and variance analysis, providing clear insights and mitigation strategies to senior management.
• Ensure integrity and reconciliation of data across SAP, Primavera P6, Unifier, BIM, and related systems.
• Oversee monthly accrual reviews and financial close activities to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Provide high-level oversight of schedule changes and integrated cost/schedule impacts.
• Lead risk and opportunity reviews, ensuring timely identification, assessment, and escalation of key exposures.
• Act as a senior liaison between Finance, Commercial, and Project Delivery teams to ensure transparency and alignment.
• Mentor and guide project controls teams, promoting governance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
