Job summary

Hill International, Inc. in Saudi Arabia seeks a Project Controls Engineer to ensure accurate, timely reporting of cost, schedule and progress data and to support project teams with data analysis.

The role includes preparing weekly and monthly reports, updating trackers, performing variance analysis, and coordinating with SAP, Primavera P6 and Oracle Unifier. Assignment runs through the end of 2026 with a potential extension. Strong communication with executives is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are mandatory.
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6, SAP, and Oracle Unifier is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly and monthly reports, closeout, demobilization, and preservation reports.
• Collect, organize, and maintain data across contracts, including cost, schedule, and progress information.
• Update cost and schedule trackers, and prepare S-curves, charts, and presentation materials.
• Support reconciliation of SAP, Oracle Unifier, and Primavera P6 records, and manage reporting calendars.
• Perform variance analysis and provide commentary on changes.
• Assist with schedule and cost substantiation records for claims and disputes.
• Complete ad-hoc analysis and reporting as requested by the Project Controls Manager.
• Apply document control and data quality standards to all work products.
• Follow up with project teams and stakeholders for inputs and evidence.
• Ensure confidentiality and data integrity throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project controls experience, preferably on construction or major capital projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills are mandatory.
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6, SAP, and Oracle Unifier is preferred.
• Experience with Power BI and Aconex, SharePoint, and OneDrive is an asset.
• Practical experience in cost, schedule, and data analysis reporting is essential.
• PMP or a comparable credential is desirable.
• Owner, IPMT, PMC, consultant, or contractor experience is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to report to executives.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
