Job summary

Cenomi Centers is seeking an experienced financial auditor to oversee post-transaction audits and verification in Riyadh. You will review supplier invoices, contract payments, and project ledgers to ensure data integrity before consolidation into management reports.

The role requires a professional accounting qualification and at least 7 years of financial and management accounting experience, including 1 year in a leadership capacity. Real estate industry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (CPA/CIMA/CA/ACCA) preferred.
• 7+ years of financial accounting and management accounting experience, including 1+ year in a management role.
• Experience in real estate or related industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform post-transaction financial audit and verification.
• Review supplier invoices, payments against contracts, and validate data/transactions accuracy in the system.
• Review all project-related ledgers and balance sheet schedules prior to consolidation into management reports and audits.
• Review monthly management reports, flag inconsistencies and coordinate with GL/Reporting.
• Coordinate with external auditors to ensure smooth external audit verification per statutory requirements and IFRS/IAS standards.
• Ensure adoption of agreed accounting principles for reconciliation, revenue and cost reporting.
• Perform added roles and tasks as per management needs.

Job description

• Perform the overall, post-transaction, financial audit and verification
• Review a subset of supplier invoices, payments against contracts, and validate data/ transactions correctness/ integrity in the system (in accordance with A/P, project manager, and project contract manager)
• Review all project-related ledgers and balance sheet schedules received from Budgeting, cost consultants, or the PMC prior to consolidation into Management reports and quarterly/ annual audits
• Review the monthly Management reports prepared by General Ledger and Reporting in relation to projects and in coordination with Budgeting, flag and investigate inconsistencies
• Coordinate with external auditors to ensure a smooth external Audit verification in accordance with statutory requirements and applicable international accounting standards
• Ensure the adoption of agreed upon accounting principles for reconciliation, revenue and cost reporting
• Perform added roles and tasks as per management needs.

Job Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification e.g. CPA, CIMA, CA, ACCA is preferred
• 7+ years of experience of financial accounting and management accounting experience including 1+ years in a management role
• Experience of accounting within real estate or related industry is preferred
• Experience in project accounting and reporting
• Good analytical skills
• Knowledge of and ability to apply international accounting standards and ERP systems
