Qualifications

• 10 years of professional experience in lighting design, AV engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency with lighting control systems and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of audio-visual systems including projectors and mixers.
• Experience with CAD software and AV design tools for planning.
• Solid understanding of networking, DMX control, and signal flow.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, safety compliance, and codes.
• Excellent troubleshooting, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement lighting and AV system solutions tailored to client specifications.
• Install, configure, and test lighting fixtures, projectors, screens, and audio systems.
• Operate lighting consoles, audio mixers, and control systems during events.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform preventive maintenance on AV and lighting gear.
• Collaborate with event planners and vendors to meet technical requirements.
• Create technical drawings and system designs using CAD and AV design tools.
• Ensure installations comply with safety regulations and electrical codes.
• Source components and manage inventory with vendors.
• Provide technical support to clients and team members during setup.
• Document configurations and maintenance records for future reference.
• Stay current with emerging lighting and AV technologies.
