Job summary

Omrania in Riyadh is seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to lead day-to-day management and coordination of landscape and public-realm design from concept through IFC delivery, ensuring design excellence, financial control, and full interdisciplinary integration.

You will mentor a multi-disciplinary team, implement QA/QC processes, and coordinate early integration with civil, MEP, and infrastructure, while maintaining schedules, budgets, and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture
• Professional accreditation (CMLI, ASLA, or equivalent) preferred
• 15 years total experience, including 3+ years in design-management within the GCC
• Strong understanding of landscape design principles and regional codes
• Experience managing large-scale public-realm projects
• Proficiency in Revit LA, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Navisworks, MS Project, and BIM 360
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage budgets, workloads, and deliver under pressure

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management and coordination of landscape and public-realm design from concept through IFC delivery
• Design management and team leadership
• Plan, manage, and deliver projects within approved time, fee, and quality parameters
• Develop commercial awareness — monitor fee utilization, scope changes, and initiate change-control processes
• Prepare and maintain resource and deliverable schedules with HoD and PMs
• Contribute to sub-consultant procurement, scope definition, and technical performance assessment
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a multi-disciplinary team
• Implement structured QA/QC and peer-review procedures at design gateways
• Coordinate early integration of civil, MEP, and infrastructure requirements
• Ensure landscape designs incorporate sustainability, accessibility, and safety-in-design principles
• Deliver complex landscape projects with technical and managerial guidance
• Delegate tasks, monitor progress, manage risks, and report proactively
• Ensure compliance with internal QMS and ISO 9001 processes
• Represent the Landscape discipline in client and consultant meetings
• Contribute to proposals: scope, design methodology, plans, deliverables, budgets
• Maintain documentation — Minutes, Change Logs, Trackers, Risk Registers
• Design & Technical Expertise: review landscape deliverables (plans, reports, drawings)
• Collaborate with HoD and PMs on complex challenges ensuring constructability
• Ensure tender/IFC docs align with authority standards
• Develop and track deliverables lists per contract scope
• Maintain awareness of codes and sustainable design best practice
• Lead BIM integration using Revit LA, Civil 3D, Navisworks
• Review sub-consultant deliverables and coordinate across teams
• Work with QS and Spec Writer on specs and BOQs
• Contribute to Value-Engineering and site support
• Champion innovation in digital design and sustainable materials
• Communication and Collaboration: fluent English (Arabic where applicable)
• Lead client presentations and coordination reviews
• Translate complex data into clear narratives for stakeholders
• Develop and maintain strong client/partner relationships
• Foster a collaborative culture aligned with company values
