Job summary

Hyder Consulting seeks a Senior Landscape Architect to join our Saudi-based construction team on a broad portfolio of schemes. You will supervise large-scale utilities projects, lead landscape planning, and liaise with clients and authorities to ensure compliance with regulations.

Candidates should have 18+ years in engineering/construction, 10+ years in site supervision of utilities, and strong report writing skills, with fluency in English and Arabic.

Qualifications

• College/University Degree in Landscape Architecture or equivalent.
• Minimum eighteen (18) years’ experience in Engineering and Construction Industry.
• At least ten (10) years’ work experience in Site Supervision of Utilities projects.
• Proven experience in a large consultancy with strong report writing skills.
• Excellent knowledge of landscape planning laws, policies and best practices, with project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Conducts landscape or townscape studies and reports, including landscape plans.
• Attends client briefings and presents project stages to clients.
• Prepares and presents landscape designs to clients and approving agencies, with expertise in land use planning, landscape architecture and urban design.
• Liaises with internal and external clients and statutory bodies on relevant legislation.
• Working with project teams to deliver outputs on schedule.
