Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Civil Engineer to join the Technical Office and support delivery of large-scale landscape, infrastructure, and public realm projects in Saudi Arabia. You will prepare and review technical submissions, coordinate multidisciplinary designs, and produce shop drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Minimum 8 years in civil engineering with at least 5 years in a Technical Office.
• Experience in landscape, infrastructure, and public realm projects.

Responsibilities

• Review contract drawings, IFC drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate shop drawings for civil and landscape works.
• Coordinate with structural, architectural, MEP, irrigation and site teams to ensure clash-free drawings.
• Prepare grading plans, hardscape details, and construction drawings for landscape projects.
• Review subcontractors' shop drawings, calculations and submissions before client submission.
• Resolve technical queries and provide practical engineering solutions during construction.
• Conduct value engineering studies to optimize cost, constructability and execution.
• Coordinate with consultants and clients to obtain approvals for technical submissions.
• Support quantity take-offs and material verification as required.
• Monitor site execution to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specs.
• Assist in reviewing method statements and material submittals.
• Participate in technical meetings and provide engineering support throughout project lifecycle.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance within the Technical Office.
