Job summary

Cordoba Gardens is seeking a Senior Landscape Engineer with proven experience in both landscape design and site execution for large-scale hospitality, commercial, and residential developments. The role combines design development, detailed drawings, material and plant selection, quantity take-offs, site supervision, and handover.

Based in Huraymila, Riyadh Region, the candidate must have 5+ years of experience (3+ in Saudi Arabia) and be available for immediate joining, on-site full-time work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Landscape Engineering or related field.
• Demonstrated 5+ years landscape experience with minimum 3 years in Saudi Arabia.
• Experience in both landscape design and hands-on site execution.
• Experience on large-scale hospitality, commercial, and residential developments.
• Knowledge of hardscape, planting, irrigation, and local plant suitability.
• Ability to prepare drawings, specs, schedules, and quantity take-offs.
• Ability to supervise contractors and inspect works.
• Familiarity with Saudi codes and health & safety.
• Advanced AutoCAD and strong Excel skills.
• Good design presentation using 3D/visualisation software.
• Strong English for technical correspondence.
• Leadership, attention to detail, and deadline management.

Responsibilities

• Develop landscape concepts, layouts, and design proposals per project brief and site constraints.
• Prepare coordinated drawings, planting plans, schedules, and construction details.
• Select plants suited to climate, soil, salinity, water availability, maintenance.
• Develop irrigation layouts and water-demand calculations; coordinate with specialists.
• Coordinate levels, drainage, accessibility, utilities, lighting, and landscape structures.
• Prepare quantities, bills of quantities, material schedules, and comparisons.
• Review supplier/subcontractor drawings and data.
• Prepare RFIs and technical submissions and manage revisions.
• Identify elements needing specialist design and obtain approvals.
• Prepare as-built drawings and handover information.
