Job summary

DXC Technology Morocco is seeking an Expert Java Spring Boot Developer to lead architecture, design, and optimization of enterprise-scale backend applications and distributed systems in a backend-focused environment.

The role covers Java, Spring Boot, microservices, APIs, system integrations, event-driven architectures, databases, security, performance engineering, and cloud-native development. Mentoring senior teams is a key expectation.

Qualifications

12+ years of professional software engineering experience.
8+ years designing or architecting enterprise-scale Spring Boot solutions.
Strong hands-on development experience in complex enterprise environments.
Proven experience leading architecture reviews and mentoring teams.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend apps using Java 17/21+ and Spring Boot 3.x.
Architect enterprise-scale microservices and distributed systems for scalability and resilience.
Resolve complex integration issues (REST, SOAP, APIs, XML, WSDL).
Profile and optimize JVM performance, memory, GC, concurrency, and caching.
Design event-driven architectures with Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS Kinesis.
Apply CQRS, Event Sourcing, and Transactional Outbox patterns where relevant.
Implement secure architectures with Spring Security, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, Vault.
Develop with Spring Cloud, Spring Data, JPA/Hibernate, and WebFlux.
Utilize PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis; optimize queries and pooling.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to backend engineers.
Collaborate with architecture, infra, security, product, and business teams.
Communicate risks, trade-offs, and decisions to stakeholders.
