Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Road Network Engineer (ITS) to oversee the operation and maintenance of a city-wide road network within a giga-project in Saudi Arabia. You will support ITS, traffic operations, road asset maintenance, event mobility, and smart-city integration to ensure highways and urban corridors operate safely and efficiently.

The role requires extensive experience in road network operations, ITS, traffic management, and collaboration with multiple stakeholders to minimize disruptions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/transportation/road engineering.
• Experience in road maintenance and traffic operations.
• Strong knowledge of ITS and traffic management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational performance of highways, urban roads, intersections, and transit corridors.
• Monitor real-time traffic conditions using ITS, CCTV, and data feeds.
• Analyze traffic speeds, volumes, congestion, and incidents to identify issues.
• Develop and implement traffic management measures for planned/unplanned disruptions.
• Coordinate with TMCs, city operations, security, and emergency services.
