Job summary

IC İçtaş Construction is seeking an experienced Irrigation Engineer for a road project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on designing and coordinating irrigation systems for highways and landscape infrastructure to meet project goals.

The candidate will bring 8+ years in irrigation design, strong hydraulic knowledge, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, WaterGEMS, and EPANET, plus excellent English. Collaboration across disciplines and site support are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural, Civil, or Water Resources Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of irrigation design experience on infrastructure projects.
• Experience with irrigation systems for highways, landscaping, and large-scale projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, WaterGEMS, EPANET or equivalent tools.
• Excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, review, and coordinate irrigation systems for highways, landscapes, and infrastructure.
• Prepare hydraulic calculations, network layouts, and water demand assessments.
• Develop irrigation solutions using potable, recycled, and treated water sources.
• Size pumping stations, storage tanks, valves, filtration, and related irrigation infrastructure.
• Prepare technical specifications, BOQs, submittals, and procurement requirements.
• Coordinate with landscape, utility, road, civil, and MEP disciplines.
• Review contractor and consultant submissions related to irrigation systems and landscape infrastructure.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Ensure compliance with local authority requirements, international standards, sustainability objectives, and water conservation practices.
• Participate in value engineering studies and optimization initiatives to enhance system efficiency and reduce costs.
• Prepare technical reports, design calculations, presentations, and project documentation.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Irrigation Engineer to join our team for our road project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in irrigation design and infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in irrigation systems for highways, urban developments, landscaping, parks, and large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic design, pressure networks, pumping systems, filtration units, and irrigation control systems.
• Experience with treated sewage effluent (TSE) networks, potable water systems, and sustainable irrigation practices.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, WaterGEMS, EPANET, or equivalent hydraulic modeling tools.
• Familiarity with international standards, local authority regulations, and water conservation requirements.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Previous Middle East and Saudi Arabia project experience is highly preferred.

• Coordinate with landscape, utility, road, civil, structural, and MEP disciplines to ensure seamless project integration.
• Review contractor and consultant submissions related to irrigation systems and landscape infrastructure.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction, testing, commissioning, and handover phases.
• Ensure compliance with local authority requirements, international standards, sustainability objectives, and water conservation practices.
• Participate in value engineering studies and optimization initiatives to enhance system efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Prepare technical reports, design calculations, presentations, and project documentation.
