Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer, Inverter to drive design intent and validation of inverter power electronics for high‑volume production. You will perform root cause analysis, develop corrective actions, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure robust design across the product lifecycle.

You will contribute to design verification, support product launches, and lead changes addressing known production issues, working closely with manufacturing and quality teams.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years automotive experience or MS with 6+ years.
• Experience in Power Electronics development.
• Six Sigma Green/Black Belt or EIT certification.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex inverter power electronics problems using standard techniques.
• Data-driven root cause analysis and issue prevention for deviations.
• Establish technical depth to troubleshoot inverter components and test equipment.
• Define design intent assembly requirements and enforce on the line with cross-functional teams.
• Support new product launches and approve deviations for inverter power electronics tests.
• Support high-volume production ramp activities.
• Lead product change management with cross-functional teams.
