Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer – Inverter to lead the development, launch, and sustainment of automated test systems for electric traction inverter manufacturing lines.

You will collaborate with design, controls, quality, production, and external suppliers to deliver scalable, data-driven test solutions ensuring performance, safety, and reliability on high‑voltage power electronics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field; 5+ years in autom. test equipment in high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience testing EV traction inverters or high-power power electronics.
• Strong understanding of inverter architectures, thermal management, and high-voltage safety.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve inverter test specs; act as manufacturing test authority.
• Design and own test system hardware for inverter testing.
• Develop modular test applications with operator interfaces and data logging.
• Lead commissioning, validation, and ramp support for new test systems.
