Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer, Inverter to own design intent assembly for inverter power electronics and verify validation requirements in collaboration with core engineering. The role targets 5+ years in automotive power electronics and strong root-cause analysis capability.

The position supports high-volume production, new product launches, and continuous improvement across manufacturing lines, with a comprehensive benefits package and equity opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering with automotive experience in power electronics.
• Six Sigma certification or related process improvement training.
• EIT or equivalent engineering fundamentals certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex component/system problems in inverter power electronics and software interfaces.
• Data-driven root-cause analysis and issue avoidance for process deviations.
• Establish technical depth to troubleshoot inverter power electronics and EOL test equipment.
• Lead design intent assembly requirements for inverter power electronics and enforce on the line.
• Support new product launches and manufacturing part deviations for inverter power electronics.
• Assist high-volume production ramp and advise on build process improvements.
• Lead product change management for known issues in production.
