Job summary

Tractebel is hiring a Senior Design Instrumentation and Control Engineer for a Riyadh-based design office on a 100% onsite basis. The role focuses on preparing specifications, coordinating design reviews, and managing detailed engineering submittals.

You will review MDLs, P&IDs, GA/Layout, and FAT procedures while ensuring compliance with international standards. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in large thermal power projects, strong English communication, leadership, and proficiency with MS

Qualifications

Bachelor in Instrumentation and Control approved by Saudi Council of Engineers, 10+ years in large Thermal Power Projects.
Experience in design/engineering and EPC document review: MDL, design criteria, P&IDs, GA/Layout, calculations, FAT procedures.
Knowledge of International Standards; proficient in MS Office and MIS; strong English communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

Prepare specifications and coordinate design reviews with Contractor, Consultant, and internal disciplines.
Manage design works and review EPC submissions for Instrumentation and Control scope.
Review FAT procedures/reports; oversee vendor drawings and field changes; as-built documentation.
Contribute to risk assessments (Hazop/Hazid/SIL) and ensure design verification for the gas conversion project.
