AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Senior ELV Engineer to lead design, review, installation, testing and commissioning of ELV systems for large-scale projects in Saudi Arabia. You will coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and vendors while ensuring compliance with standards and specs.

The role requires 10+ years of ELV experience, senior supervisory exposure, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit/BIM and MS Office. GCC/Saudi projects are preferred; PMP certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronics/telecom engineering (or related field).
• ELV/Security systems certifications preferred.
• PMP certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Overview

The Senior ELV Engineer will be responsible for the design review, installation, testing, commissioning, integration, and maintenance of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems for large-scale building and infrastructure projects. The role requires ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Your role

• Lead the engineering, design review, and implementation of ELV systems throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical specifications.
• Supervise installation activities and ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
• Manage testing, commissioning, and handover activities for all ELV systems.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor project progress and provide technical support to site teams.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and standards.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and as-built documentation.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality regulations.

About you

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related discipline.
• Professional certifications related to ELV/Security Systems are preferred.
• PMP certification is an advantage.

Experience Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in ELV engineering within large building, mixed-use, commercial, airport, metro, rail, healthcare, or infrastructure projects.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior engineering or supervisory role.
• Experience with multidisciplinary project coordination and stakeholder management.
• GCC/Saudi Arabia project experience preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of international standards such as IEC, NFPA, TIA/EIA, BICSI, and local Saudi regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and MS Office.
• Familiarity with ELV system integration platforms and commissioning procedures.
• Ability to review technical drawings and specifications.
