Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior ELV Engineer in Saudi Arabia to lead ELV design, review and commissioning on large-scale building projects. Youall under a multidisciplinary team, coordinating with clients, consultants and vendors to ensure compliance with standards and project requirements.

The role requires extensive ELV experience, strong leadership, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit/BIM. Saudi project exposure is preferred, with health, safety and quality commitments at the core.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/related field.
• Certifications in ELV/Security systems preferred.
• PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead ELV design review, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Review shop drawings, submittals and technical specs.
• Supervise installation activities for ELV systems.
• Coordinate testing, handover and commissioning.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and vendors.

Overview

The Senior ELV Engineer will be responsible for the design review, installation, testing, commissioning, integration, and maintenance of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems for large-scale building and infrastructure projects. The role requires ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Overview

The Senior ELV Engineer will be responsible for the design review, installation, testing, commissioning, integration, and maintenance of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems for large-scale building and infrastructure projects. The role requires ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Your role

• Lead the engineering, design review, and implementation of ELV systems throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical specifications.
• Supervise installation activities and ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
• Manage testing, commissioning, and handover activities for all ELV systems.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor project progress and provide technical support to site teams.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and standards.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and as-built documentation.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality regulations.
• Support project planning, cost control, and resource management activities.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related discipline.
• Professional certifications related to ELV/Security Systems are preferred.
• PMP certification is an advantage.

Experience Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in ELV engineering within large building, mixed-use, commercial, airport, metro, rail, healthcare, or infrastructure projects.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior engineering or supervisory role.
• Experience with multidisciplinary project coordination and stakeholder management.
• GCC/Saudi Arabia project experience preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of international standards such as IEC, NFPA, TIA/EIA, BICSI, and local Saudi regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and MS Office.
• Familiarity with ELV system integration platforms and commissioning procedures.
• Ability to review technical drawings and specifications.
