Job summary

AtkinsR alis is seeking a Senior ELV Engineer to lead design reviews, implement ELV systems, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams on large-scale building and infrastructure projects in the region.

You will review drawings and specifications, supervise installation, manage testing and handover, and ensure compliance with standards and client requirements while supporting planning, cost control and resource management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years ELV engineering experience on large-scale projects.
• GCC/Saudi Arabia project experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electrical/Telecom engineering; PMP advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering design review and implementation of ELV systems throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements and technical specifications.
• Supervise installation activities and ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
• Manage testing, commissioning and handover activities for all ELV systems.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and vendors to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor project progress and provide technical support to site teams.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure work aligns with approved drawings and standards.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates and as-built documentation.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety and quality regulations.
• Support project planning, cost control and resource management activities.

Overview The Senior ELV Engineer will be responsible for the design review installation testing commissioning integration and maintenance of Extra Low Voltage ELV systems for large-scale building and infrastructure projects The role requires ensuring compliance with project specifications industry standards and client requirements while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams

Your role

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related discipline. Professional certifications related to ELV/Security Systems are preferred. PMP certification is an advantage.

Experience Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in ELV engineering within large building, mixed-use, commercial, airport, metro, rail, healthcare, or infrastructure projects.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior engineering or supervisory role.
• Experience with multidisciplinary project coordination and stakeholder management.
• GCC/Saudi Arabia project experience preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of international standards such as IEC, NFPA, TIA/EIA, BICSI, and local Saudi regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and MS Office.
• Familiarity with ELV system integration platforms and commissioning procedures.
• Ability to review technical drawings and specifications.
