Job summary

Khatib & Alami in Riyadh seeks a Senior Architect - Hospitality to lead architectural design activities for medium complexity projects within the design center. The role includes developing schematic and detailed designs, coordinating with disciplines, and contributing to tender documents.

The candidate should have 15+ years in hospitality architecture, strong client liaison skills, and experience with regional standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture required.
Master’s Degree preferred.
Chartered or Professional Engineering certification preferred.
In depth knowledge and proven track record in the [specialty] architectural design field.
Understanding of international engineering standards and codes.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in spoken and written English; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Lead architectural design for medium complexity projects in the design center.
Develop schematic and detailed designs and prepare tender documents for design projects.
Coordinate with other design disciplines (Structural, Mechanical, Water & Environment).
Lead small teams of junior engineers, as needed.
Engage with clients and authorities to review and obtain approvals.
Support Project Managers with client relations and presentations.
