Job summary

Ennismore, part of the Accor network, invites a Chief Accountant to lead daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain robust internal controls within its Saudi Arabia operations.

You will supervise the accounting team, manage general ledger, month-end closes, budgeting support, tax compliance, and audits, while delivering insights to support decision-making and safeguard assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA/ACCA/CMA or equivalent highly preferred.
• 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Proficiency in SAP, Oracle NetSuite or similar ERP platforms.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
• Maintain compliance with IFRS/GAAP and company policies.
• Supervise and support the accounting team in daily operations.
• Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts regularly.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and tax reporting.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
