Job summary

Faena The Red Sea seeks a Chief Accountant to oversee daily accounting, ensure IFRS-compliant reporting, and lead the accounting team. You will manage the general ledger, month-end close, tax compliance, and internal controls while supporting audits and strategic finance decisions.

You will collaborate with banks, auditors and management to deliver accurate financial narratives and timely disclosures in a fast-paced hospitality environment in Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA/ACCA/CMA certification preferred.
• 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory or senior-level responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Proficiency in SAP, Oracle NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel for financial analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Ensure accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
• Maintain IFRS compliance and company policies.
• Supervise and develop the accounting team.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and tax reporting.
