Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Backend Developer (Go) based in Saudi Arabia to architect and build scalable backend systems for a high-performance energy trading platform. You will leverage deep Go expertise, drive system design, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fully remote setup.

You will work in an AI-assisted development environment, employing agentic coding tools to accelerate delivery while upholding strict security and testing standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of backend software development including architecture design.
• Strong Go production-grade backend experience; Rust is a plus.
• Experience with high-throughput, low-latency systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services with focus on performance, reliability, and security.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve productivity and code quality.
• Translate business requirements into actionable technical tasks for developers and AI agents.
• Review PRs to ensure correctness and architectural alignment.
• Collaborate with product teams to deliver critical backend features.
• Promote TDD and maintain automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
• Design and optimize database schemas across relational and time-series stores.
• Apply secure coding practices and ensure regulatory compliance.
