Job summary

SoftwareOne is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer in Riyadh to build secure, scalable backend services and integrate AI capabilities into enterprise applications. You will work with real-time data, cloud-native tech, and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, business-critical solutions.

The role emphasizes containerized deployments (Docker/OpenShift/Kubernetes), CI/CD, and secure coding practices within a hybrid work setup on-site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing scalable backend services for enterprise apps using Node.js, Java/Spring Boot, or Python frameworks.
• Proficient in RESTful API design with authentication, authorization, and RBAC.
• Hands-on with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, TimescaleDB).
• Experience deploying in containerized environments with CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.
• Able to troubleshoot production issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration failures.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure backend services and APIs for enterprise web apps.
• Enhance services for reporting, dashboards, notifications, workflows, and AI-enabled features.
• Integrate apps with enterprise data sources and existing backend systems.
• Develop real-time data flows using APIs, WebSockets, and messaging patterns.
• Collaborate with AI and data teams to integrate models and analytics into workflows.
• Support Docker/OpenShift/Kubernetes deployments and release management.
• Ensure security, reliability, and operational readiness through testing, logging, and monitoring.
