SYSTRA is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer for major railway projects in the Middle East, with a strong background in design and at least 15 years of experience. The role emphasizes leadership in geotechnical design, site investigations, data interpretation, and reporting within multidisciplinary teams.

Saudi Arabia experience is highly advantageous; proficiency in geotechnical software and strong English communication are essential for client-facing delivery.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience; at least 5 years on railway or major infrastructure projects.
• Experience in deep foundations, embankments, retaining structures, ground improvement, and tunneling.
• Proven track record managing large geotechnical design packages.
• Experience on Middle East projects; Saudi Arabia experience advantageous.
• Proficiency in geotechnical analysis software and English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Lead geotechnical design for large-scale railway projects, ensuring compliance with international standards and local regulations.
• Conduct and supervise site investigations, soil/rock testing, and lab analysis.
• Interpret geotechnical data and prepare clear technical reports and design documents.
• Oversee junior engineers and external consultants.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams (structural, civil, environmental).
• Provide technical leadership from feasibility to detailed design and construction.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and local authorities; present findings.
