Overview

🌍 We're Hiring: Senior Geologist — Location: Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia; Type: Full-time; Area: Exploration & Geosciences. Are you a passionate and experienced exploration geologist with a drive to lead field programs, develop new targets, and manage multi-disciplinary teams? We are looking for a Senior Geologist to take on a key role in executing high-quality regional and camp-scale programs in dynamic geological terrains. Scope of the Role

As the Senior Geologist, you will lead and supervise grassroots and near-resource exploration programs, managing both technical execution and team performance. This role requires strong geoscientific expertise, hands-on field experience, leadership capabilities, and a high commitment to safety, community, and environmental standards. You will be responsible for target generation, geological interpretation (including 3D modeling), drill program design, QA/QC implementation, and mentoring junior staff — all while maintaining high-quality technical documentation.

Core Competencies & Skills

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of regional geology and ore body settings
  • Skilled in interpreting geochemical, geophysical, and drill data
  • Solid grasp of deposit models, target generation, and exploration methodologies
  • Multi-commodity and multi-terrain experience, preferably including Archean terranes
  • Highly skilled in field mapping, sampling, drill logging, and QA/QC
  • Proficiency in GIS and geological softwares.

Analytical & Constructive Thinking:

  • Strong 3D spatial analysis and predictive modeling skills
  • Ability to design exploration task sequences and solve complex geological problems independently
  • Conceptualizes new models and exploration strategies based on limited data

  • Strategic planning and project organization
  • Strong judgment, adaptability, and calculated risk-taking
  • Team leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal communication
  • Confident in defending geological interpretations and exploration priorities
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, implement, and supervise regional and project-level exploration programs
  • Lead geological mapping, sampling, drill planning, and data integration
  • Maintain data quality control through rigorous QA/QC protocols
  • Develop and refine geological models and drill targets
  • Support resource estimation teams with geological interpretation and updates
  • Mentor and guide junior geologists and field teams
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and project proposals
  • Manage exploration budgets and operational timelines
  • Ensure compliance with company safety and environmental standards, and OHSA
  • Collaborate with external consultants, local communities, and stakeholders
Qualifications & Experience
  • BSc and MSc in Geosciences (or related field) from an accredited institution
  • 8–10 years of experience in mineral exploration, including grassroots and resource conversion stages
  • Strong geoscientific background in multi-commodity systems and geological terrains
  • Excellent field and technical skills, including geologic mapping, modeling, and analysis
  • Strong project management and leadership experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Hands-on GIS experience.
  • Demonstrated success managing teams, timelines, and project budgets
