Job summary

NorthBay Solutions LLC is seeking a Senior Generative AI Architect (PreSales) who can design enterprise-grade Agentic AI platforms, lead technical pre-sales efforts, and translate business needs into scalable AI architectures. This role blends hands-on AI development with strategic architecture, requiring collaboration across regions and time zones.

You will mentor engineers and shape engineering standards while engaging with enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional presales, software engineering and AI/ML experience.
• 3+ years hands-on experience building LLM-based applications.
• Demonstrated experience delivering Agentic AI or autonomous AI systems, not just chatbots.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and scalable distributed systems.
• Experience integrating AI solutions with APIs, databases, SaaS platforms, and enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Define technical architecture for enterprise-grade Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions.
• Build autonomous and multi-agent workflows using modern LLM frameworks.
• Connect AI agents with APIs, databases, enterprise applications, internal tools, and third-party SaaS platforms.
• Establish reusable AI components, pipelines, and frameworks for multiple use cases.
• Drive improvements in model performance, context management, tool selection, latency and costs.
• Establish security, privacy, governance, and compliance practices for AI deployments.
• Provide technical leadership to engineering teams across regions and time zones.
• Work with enterprise customers and senior stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards and documentation.
