Job summary

Siemens Energy in Saudi Arabia (Eastern Province) seeks an experienced Steel Plate Fitter to perform on-site maintenance, repair, and modification of gas turbines at customer power plants across KSA and internationally.

You will collaborate with Field Service teams, prepare detailed maintenance documentation, and lead subcontractors while upholding strict safety standards. Extensive travel and shift work are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Steel Plate Fitter.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Willingness to travel 70% (200–250 days per year).
• Safety training including FME, Confined Space, and Working at Height.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized gas turbine and generator maintenance, repair, and modification activities at customer power plants across KSA and internationally.
• Collaborate with FS Shift Leads and Field Service Engineers while following Siemens Energy quality, EHS, and project procedures.
• Prepare and submit detailed maintenance reports, quality records, and technical documentation using drawings and schematics.
• Lead and supervise subcontractors, promote safety programs, conduct risk assessments, and ensure proper PPE use.
• Execute mechanical activities including alignment of transitions, cooling air systems, flame tubes, burner components, and welding prep work.
