Job summary

CAE Middle East is seeking a Simulator Software Engineer to support flight training technology at Riyadh Air's new training centre in Saudi Arabia.

You will work on software/hardware integration, configuration control, and issue resolution across CAE simulators, contributing to safety and training outcomes. This on-site role offers collaboration with engineers, authorities, and customers, with potential international travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering with 7–10 years related experience.
Knowledge of CAE software and applications including CAELIB, STARTEAM, Strive, Visual Systems, SIM XXI, Simfinity, Launchpad, ITMS.
Proficiency in C, C++, FORTRAN and scripting (Perl).
Experience with Windows development tools and avionics interfaces.

Responsibilities

Support Flight Simulator Training Devices and Cabin Crew Training Devices; be technical point of contact.
Own software configuration control; debug and implement fixes for simulators.
Assist in installation, software integration, and hardware requirements at site.
Engage in project reviews; coordinate with CAE-MTL and customer teams.
Interact with authorities and participate in meetings; support SLA in the region.
