Job summary

CAE Middle East seeks a Simulator Software Engineer to own software configuration control and diagnose complex issues in Riyadh's flight training simulators.

You will develop and integrate system improvements, support qualification tests, and collaborate with CAE-MTL teams and local authorities to ensure compliance and performance across the training devices.

Travel within the Middle East region may be required to support deployments and on-site commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 7–10 years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of C, C++, and FORTRAN, plus scripting (Perl).
• Knowledge of CAE software including CAELIB, STARTEAM, Strive, Visual Systems, SIM XXI, Simfinity, Launchpad, ITMS.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a global team.

Responsibilities

• Provide software and hardware support for Flight Simulator Training Devices.
• Own software configuration control across all simulators.
• Develop, test, and present fixes; implement system improvements.
• Coordinate with CAE-MTL for software integration and performance.
• Interface with authorities and customers; support travel within the region.
