Job summary

Saudi Gold Refinery is seeking a Senior Fixed Assets Specialist in Riyadh to manage capitalization, depreciation, and verification of high‑value assets, ensuring IFRS compliance and robust internal controls.

You will maintain the asset register in Odoo, run monthly depreciation, coordinate physical counts, support audits, and collaborate with Operations, Procurement, and HSE to optimize asset data and disposal practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 10+ years of fixed assets accounting experience in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Strong IFRS knowledge, especially IAS 16.
• Proficiency with Odoo asset management system.
• Advanced Excel for data analysis and reconciliation.
• Experience conducting physical asset inventories and resolving variances.
• English fluency required; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fixed asset register; record additions, transfers and disposals in Odoo.
• Run monthly depreciation and allocate costs to cost centers (Refining, Laboratory).
• Coordinate periodic physical asset counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Review capital expenditure requests for capitalization approval.
• Provide asset schedules and documentation for internal and external audits.
