Job summary

Saudi Gold Refinery in Riyadh seeks an Accounting Manager to lead the financial accounting function, ensure IFRS-based reporting, regulatory compliance, and strong internal controls over inventory. You will present results to the CEO and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized university.
• Professional certification such as SOCPA, CPA, ACCA, or CMA is required.
• At least 10+ years of accounting experience with 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Saudi Arabian tax laws including VAT and withholding tax.
• Experience in mining industry and inventory accounting within mining or industrial sector.
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as Odoo, Jisr.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to accuracy in financial data.
• Fluency in English and Arabic language is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares monthly and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and presents them to the CEO for review.
• Reconciles ledger balances with physical inventory records on a weekly basis.
• Ensures timely VAT returns and withholding tax declarations per ZATCA regulations.
• Acts as primary liaison for external auditors and facilitates audits.
• Supervises the accounting team and provides technical guidance on accounting standards.
• Designs and monitors internal control procedures to protect assets and ensure accuracy.
• Analyzes operational costs to identify variances and support budgeting and forecasting.
• Manages bank reconciliations and supports cash flow forecasting for liquidity.
• Oversees integration of financial data from operations into the ERP for reporting.
• Develops and updates accounting policies to reflect regulatory changes.
