Job summary

AECOM seeking an experienced Inspector – Fire, Life, Safety in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will conduct comprehensive inspections of buildings to ensure compliance with fire safety and life safety standards, document findings, and recommend corrective actions to protect lives and property.

The role requires rigorous inspection practices, strong report writing, and effective collaboration with owners, contractors and authorities to maintain high safety levels.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in fire safety inspection or life safety compliance.
• Comprehensive knowledge of fire codes, building codes and life safety regulations.
• Strong report writing and documentation skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of commercial, industrial, and residential properties to verify compliance with fire safety codes and life safety regulations.
• Evaluate fire suppression, alarm systems, emergency exits and life safety equipment for proper installation and functionality.
• Analyze building layouts, occupancy classifications and structural elements to assess risks.
• Document inspection findings in detailed reports with photographs, measurements and observations.
• Identify violations and communicate findings clearly to facility managers and owners.
• Prepare and present comprehensive inspection reports and recommendations to management and authorities.
