Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Field Engineer in Riyadh to inspect, test and maintain fire and life-safety systems across commercial and industrial facilities. The role focuses on verifying system performance, resolving issues and ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations and international standards.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of field experience, strong knowledge of fire-detection, alarm and suppression systems, and proven ability to coordinate with clients and internal teams on maintenance

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of fire-safety inspection, testing and maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of fire-detection and alarm systems.
• Familiarity with life-safety equipment and emergency lighting.
• Knowledge of Saudi safety regulations and international fire standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect fire-detection and alarm systems at client facilities.
• Test fire-suppression systems and safety equipment.
• Perform planned maintenance of life-safety systems.
• Calibrate equipment according to technical requirements.
• Document inspection findings and maintenance activities.
• Record test results in detailed technical reports.
• Maintain equipment service histories and compliance records.
• Coordinate field visits and manage inspection schedules.
• Escalate safety deficiencies for prompt resolution.
• Explain findings and provide operating guidance to clients.
